Fantastic team work

Ipswich ladies 1s headed to Whitgift, Croydon for their first weekend of Division 2 indoor.
After some great wins over Brighton, Bedford and St Albans, a draw to eventual winners Trojans, and a narrow loss to Wimbledon, the women finished 3rd. And therefore qualified for the second weekend.

The women's 1s travelled to Nottingham for their second weekend, in a bid to gain promotion to Division 1. The now well-drilled team played much better together and created some great patterns of play.

Unfortunately the girls were not switched on for their first game after the drive, losing 2-3 to Stourport. However, the pulled a win out of the bag later on in the day beating Trojans 3-1.
Ipswich faced beat Brooklands 3-1 on the Sunday, but lost 2-0 to an International-filled Wimbledon team. A win at the end of the day against Repton would have seen the girls promoted, but unfortunately it was a step too many and resulted in a 3-2 loss.

The team did extremely well with a mix of ages and experience. A huge thanks to Coach Rixie, Manager Donna, and Assistant Manager Emma Rix. As well as travelling supporters and parents.
