Men 1s and 4s and Women’s 1s top the tables – how long can they stay there?

Before I get into the results we need your help – 7th November CLICK HERE pie and pint, prosecco and pastry and then a club social upstairs. Please, and I emphasise this to our supporters, please buy your tickets and come and support the 1st XI matches on the 7th November. We have some brilliant new sponsors, sparkling new kit, new coaches and new players but we can’t go upwards and onwards with the same old faces pulling all the strings. Support this event, come down and watch and support and get your tickets bought (I think that's supposed to sound like a directive).

Strong adult results over the weekend (a separate junior update will follow), see below for results and tables and at the bottom a call out for ‘back to hockey’ players:

Currently this means the Men’s 1s along with the Men’s 4s sit unbeaten at the top of their leagues. Additionally the Women’s 1s, unbeaten as well, sit in poll. Both Men’s and Women’s 1st XIs are pushing hard for promotion back to National League – will be a double promotion be possible? There is a long, long way to go, but it is a good start.

See below for league table positions. With this in mind, you’ll see just the 5 ladies XI this year so I’m sending out a call for back to hockey adult players, whilst we are of course delighted with our juniors progress, we really do need a strong adult section – if you’ve played before and would like to play again, dust down you shin pads and stick OR would just like to start and give the game a go, please just let us know, we’d love to welcome you.
