Ever seen that bonkers American game show Minute to Win It? Of course you have. It’s the one where contestants are given — wait for it — a minute (yes, a whole 60 seconds!) to perform feats of skill, strength, and general lunacy. Think It’s a Knockout, but with fewer foam costumes and more existential panic. And definitely not A Royal Knockout, which was less knockout and more knock-it-off.
Well, guess what? We’re doing it. Right here. At Tuddenham Road. Next week. 7:30pm sharp. Upstairs. Hosted by none other than our very own Kate Wiid-Winger — part compère, part chaos conductor.
This isn’t a fundraiser. No buckets. No guilt. Just a call to arms (and legs, and possibly ping pong balls) to get as many of our teams up there as possible, having a laugh, making memories, and probably failing gloriously at stacking plastic cups.
So come. Bring your team. Bring your spirit. Bring your stopwatch if you must. But mostly, bring yourself.
I’ll see you there. And I’ll be timing you.
