Great end of season

Ipswich Under 8’s took part in an inter club mini tournament with members of the ladies and men’s first teams on a sunny day. All the games were close run match ups with every game being a draw or won by the odd goal. The 1st team players also managed to show their competitive side with the occasional run in with their usual team mates adding extra spice. The children really impressed with their passion and listening to the advice dished out and acting on it was really great to see, showing there is real passion at all levels of the club. The teams and their families also showed that they have healthy appetites as well with a barbecue afterwards enjoying the food and the sun. Hopefully this is the first of many more events strengthening the relationship between all teams from the youngest to the oldest and things certainly look good for the future.

Special thanks go to Emma, Rixe, Kristine, Beth, Ellie, Micha and Josh for playing, along with coaches Will and Chris Clough and Henry Langton along with a number of parents for their help, especially Leigh Swindin for all her hard work and organisation, especially serving the food and Chris Hayward-Cox, Ipswich 7 Hockey Clubs new entrant for Braai Master next year!
Final thanks go to Storm (Robin Swindin) for all his amazing work this season.
