What a way to celebrate the season – over 300 people came through Tuddenham’s Doors across Friday night’s junior event, Saturday’s fun hockey and Saturday evening’s bash. We also had 20 brave souls return on Sunday to tidy up. I’m delighted to share the first crop of pictures of the event, thank you James Nayler CLICK HERE. We also had Natalie, a photographer from ISC present, so more pictures to follow from the awards. I don’t need to say how resplendent the place, and everyone, looked: just look at the photos and you’ll see. Junior awards pictures to follow this week as well.
We’re always learning and we’ve a few things to work on for our next bash such as quicker food delivery, some games for the juniors, potential age thresholds (young not old!) and apologies if some of the content didn’t quite hit the mark, but overall I must say the feedback has been marvellous and the organising committee are grateful for all the feedback and the words of thanks for their hard efforts.
We also for the first time in eons expanded our sponsorship, something that I expect we will continue to see more of in 2025-26 and beyond. Paediatric Muscoskeletal Clinic, Gressingham’s, Prime Agriculture, Brooks Leney, East Suffolk Produce, Fairfields, The Suffolk Escape, Matthew Douglas , Be Well Barn, Clientshare, Cadman Construction, Ward Farming all sponsored a table and we we’re also supported incredibly well by our main club sponsors Seven Group.
We raised so much for the club – thank you! We now need to put that into action (and quickly) and have some important work to be cracking on with.
With that in mind, our attention turns to the summer; your new committee will be announced this week so please watch out for the updates as Ma'am (I think I might get that one to stick for Sarah!) takes charge!
Best, Wardy
