Ipswich quartet selected for England's Champions Challenge

After a highly successful trip to Korea to retain the KT Cup for Ipswich stars Jo Ellis, Becky Duggan and Cathy Gilliat-Smith attention now turns to the Champions Challenge in the USA that starts on the 8th July.

Cathy Gilliat-Smith who was England's 

leading score in Korea with 3 goals.

Ipswich's 4th member of the England squad that will travel out to the States is Leisa King, who missed the KT Cup due to work commitments.  King alongside the other Senior players that did not make the trip  may feel they have something to prove before selection for the European Nations Cup in August.

With 4 members in the squad Ipswich have the largest club representation.  Well done girls the club is very proud of you and wishes you all the best.

Pinner selected for U18 European Youth Championships

The Men's 1st team keeper George Pinner has been selected in the boys England U18 side that will play in Gneizno, Poland, between 12-17 July.

Congratulations to George and we wish him good luck and hope he can cap a great season in style.

AGM

This years AGM will take place on Wednesday 22nd June at Henley Road @ 8.00 pm. The late start is to enable the summer league games to finish and to make sure as many people as possible can make it.

PLEASE make sure you attend and also think about maybe standing for a committee post.
