Ipswich
Juniors star in Euros
Ipswich's
rising stars of Josh Godfrey,
Mickey Franklin, Jonny Gall and
Chloe Hunnable had a busy time
playing for England U16's teams in the Euro Hockey Youth
Nations.
The
U16 boys finished 5th, with Godfrey scoring 3 goals.
The
Girls U16 did even better winning sliver after narrowly losing
to host Holland. Chloe scoring 2 goals and winning her first
ever medal with the England Team.
Congratulations
to all involved and good luck to Ipswich 1st Team player Jenny
Hall who will be in action for
the England U21 squad this week in Spain as they play in their
Euro Nations Tournament.

Ellis
fulfils Olympic dream
Ipswich 1st team star Jo Ellis
has been selected as 1 of 16 players in the Women's GB Hockey
Squad for the Beijing Olympics. It is a dream come true
for the Ipswich player and she joins, Sandie Lister, Vickey
Dixon, Jo Thompson, Jane Smith and Hilary Rose as an Ipswich
player who has been selected for an Olympic Games.

A
very happy Jo Ellis
Jo
has battled long and hard to reach this dream and there were
many times during the last 6 months, as she fought off injury,
when she thought she might miss out on her chance .Displaying
a determination
that was incredible she refused to give in and has no been
rewarded with a one in a life time chance to become an Olympic
athlete.
Congratulations
Jo, the Club are so proud of you and we will be cheering you
all the way.
