Junior Summer Camps

Ipswich Hockey Club Summer Camp: August 2nd/3rd/4th (ages 11-16)

3 days of skills and games to improve your technique and game play. Come and join in the fun. 
Juniors under 11 who regularly attend the Sunday Hockey Coaching are also eligible.

Ipswich Hockey Roadshow: Sunday, August 15th (no age limitations for juniors)

The coaching will be led by Great Britain Olympian Nick Thompson along with current Internationals Leisa King and Jo Ellis. 

There will be a skills session in the morning and a tournament in the afternoon. The day is sponsored by Gryphon hockey so there will be top of the range sticks to be won.

Sudbury Retain title

The finals of Ladies Summer League saw unbeaten Ipswich take on last years winners Sudbury. Ipswich were without several regular players due to training commitments but both sides were evenly matched. Sudbury took an early lead and despite some heavy pressure managed to hang on until the final whistle to reclaim their title.

The Final was followed by the presentations and a buffet.

Congratulations to Sudbury and we look forward to seeing you all next summer.

Ladies Summer League finals night

The 3rd v 4th play-off will be Ipswich 1 v Carlton Park (6.30 start) This will be followed by the final which is Ipswich  2 v Sudbury (8.00 start)

The games will be followed by a short presentation and a buffet.

Details of summer training for club teams are being finalised in the next couple of weeks. The first week in August is looking the most likely start time but more details will be posted shortly.

Club Day date

Sunday 5th September is a date for the diary as we welcome old and new members to Henley Road for a day of hockey and fun.

The Club Day will kick off with Junior Coaching sessions, followed by mixed senior games.

There will be a BBQ, Bouncy castle and a raffle (including a signed GB t-shirt).

Final timings will follow in due course but if you want to come along and see what Ipswich Hockey Club can offer you then this is the ideal day for you and the family.
