22nd February 2010 - Women 1's romp to 5-0n win as Men also get back on track

 

The Women's 1's beat Cambridge City 5-0 to stay 4 points clear with 5 games to go. The 2's also won 2-0 against Cambridge City, 3's game against Dereham was cancelled as their opposition did not turn up.

 

The Men 1's  beat Bedford 2-1 to get back to winning ways. The  2's lost to Broxbourne 7-3 but the 3's beat Cambridge City 5-4 the 4's lost 5-0 to Harleston 4's.


15th February 2010 - 1's win late to keep them 4 points clear.

 

The Women's 1's beat Southgate 2-1 but left it until the last minute to claim all 3 points. The 2's, 3's games once more fell foul of the weather.

 

The Men 1's  game was also off but the  2's were unlucky to lose 4-3 to Pelicans. The 3's and 4's were also a victim of the frost whilst the the 5's  have withdrawn from the league.

Sunday saw the Girls U18 team beat Dereham 9-0 and the Boys U18 team beat Saffron Walden 3-2. The Women Vets also made the semi-finals of the Over 35's Cup as Sevenoaks withdrew from their game.


8th February 2010 - 1's win sees them 4 points clear

 

The Women's 1's beat 2nd placed Sevenoaks 3-1 and moved 4 points clear at the top of the East Conference. The 2's just missed out on a result against leaders Lowestoft losing out 1-0. The 3's though thrashed Sudbury 2's t 4-1 whilst the 4's beat IES 2 2-0. Unfortunately the 5's lost 4-2 to Carlton Park.

 

The Men 1's  lost 4-1 to Peterborough  and the 2's  suffered a crushing 16-2 loss to Peterborough 2's at home. The 3's lost 4-1 to Sudbury Away. The 4's lost 7- 0 to Pelicans 2, whilst the 5's  lost 3-0 to Pelicans 3's. The top of the table Vets v Norwich Exiles, awaiting result.

 

Sunday saw the mixed beat Stevenage 7-1


6th February 2010 - 1's face top of the table clash

 

The Women's 1's head back into EHL outdoor league action with a top of the table clash with Sevenoaks. With only 1 point between the teams this is a vital game in the face of the league title. The 2's also face a tough game, away against league leaders Lowestoft The 3's welcome Sudbury 2's to Tud Rd, whilst the 4's play IES 2. Finally the 5's play Carlton Park.

 

The Men 1's head to Peterborough looking to pick up some more points. The 2's face Peterborough 2's at home, the 3's play Sudbury Away. The 4's travel to North Norfolk to face Pelicans 2, whilst the 5's welcome Pelicans 3's to Henley Road. The top of the table Vets travel to Norwich to play the Exiles.

 

Sunday sees the mixed team swing into action with a home game against Stevenage.
