Ipswich’s
Jo Ellis continued to show her worth to the England
Women’s team as she was selected for the Women’s
World Cup that takes place in Madrid starting 27th
September

with her Bronze medal from the 2006 Commonwealth Games

is only 25 but already has over 81 England caps plus a
Sliver and Bronze Commonwealth medal. England coach
Danny Kerry is fully aware of her talents saying, “Ipswich’s
Jo Ellis
provides a tremendous ability to cover huge distances in
midfield and her tight possession to generate
eliminations in midfield and the final third gives
England an excellent ability to mix their play.”
England
have been drawn in Pool A, and face tough opposition in
the form of tournament favourites and World No 1 the
Netherlands, Olympic Champions Germany, hosts Spain, the
