23rd April 2010 -Women 2's and 3's get promotion

The Women's 2's have reaped the reward of a fine finish to their season with a surprise promotion to the East Premier division. Ipswich who only narrowly missed to on a top two finish were delighted to hear that a fifth teams promotion was on the cards and because the Suffolk side had the next best result they benefited. This means that in the 2010-2011 season Ipswich will be once more paying in the east elite league the highest level a second team can play at in the country.  The Women 3's also benefited from the knock down effect and will now play next season in the East Div 1 League. They will be the first third team ever in the East and possibly the country to play at such a high level.

Well done to all involved and bring on next season!

The U18 Girls travelled to Nottingham Highfields to face Gloucester City for a place in the National final. A  3-1 victory saw the Suffolk team progress to face Eastbourne.  A 6-0 victory ensured Ipswich won the title for the third time, the only club to have done so. It also meant that the six 1st Team squad members emulated their current team mates, who won back to back National titles in 04 and 05.  Congratulations girls a great effort and thank you to coach Ian Driver for his sterling work.
