Hall added to Wessex Leopards squad 

Ipswich's teenager striker Jenny Hall made her debut for  the Wessex leopards and crowned it with a goal in a 1-1 draw against her fellow Ipswich team mates in the Saxon Tigers. .Please visit the official GB site for more info

AGM 1st May  

The AGM will take place on Tuesday 1st May at Henley Road starting prompt at 7.30pm.  Please make every effort to attend the decisions taken at this meeting WILL affect you. Last year the official business was completed in well under an hour!

Ellis and Unwin help Tigers roar 

The GB Super League kicked off on the 21st April and Ipswich players Jo Ellis and Lucy Unwin were part of the squad that won 6-0 and 4-0 to lead the table. The next round is this weekend in Wales.Please visit the official GB site for more info

County team rises again  

After a long absence Suffolk Hockey Association has agreed to run a Women's Senior County side. All clubs were contacted and open trials were held on Tuesday 3rd April and the squad was selected by coach Claire Ferguson. 14 Ipswich players made the team and are now looking forward to their Regional round in Oxford on Sat 28th April. Should they win that they will advance to the national Round on the 2nd & 3rd June.

Sell out Dinner goes down a treat! 

With 5 League Titles, 1 Cup final, 2 cup semi-finals and 2 cup quarter finals to celebrate this was always going to be a popular night and it certainly involved lots of celebration!

A massive thank you to the organising committee of Russell Williams, James Wrinch, Lucy Gallagher and Kat Wrinch. Due to the event being held at Henley Road, the dinner raised the hockey section a four figure profit!

Women 2's reach first ever cup final, as Mixed also reach quarter's 

The Women 2's eased into the Cup final with a 2-0 win away at Woking 2's. Ipswich fell at this stage back in 2004 but made sure of their first final appearance with an assured display. Ipswich now face Leicester 2's on Sat 19th May @ Bowdon, Manchester. 

The Mixed team also have Cup success in mind, as they beat Banbury 2-1 to advance to the Quarter Finals. They now play last years losing finalist Folkestone for a place in the semi-finals.

Women go so close but miss out in golden goal. 

The  Women 1's lost 3-2 in golden goal to eventual winners Bowdon Hightown in the second semi-final of the Women's Cup. Despite playing some great hockey Ipswich were once again denied a place in the final by the smallest of margins. A great team performance and one that bodes well for next season.

The Women 2's lost their last league against City of Peterborough 1-0 but have had a superb season winning the league and gaining promotion back to East Prem. 

The Women 3's drew 1-1 with Yarmouth and ended their season with a creditable win. 

The Women 4's are newly crowned champions and will be looking to put on a show against Felixstowe 2's. Suffolk Premier beckons next season.

The Women 5's play a friendly against Haverhill 2's.

The Men's 3's beat IES 2's 3-1 to be claimed East Div3 NE Champions. Beating Felixstowe on goal difference. Congratulations to our 6 league Champions of the season !!

The Men's 4's play a friendly against Cranes

The Men's 5's play Carnes 2's also in a friendly fixture.

The Vets ended their season ins style beating  Cambridge City 8-1.
